FREE AS A BIRD

I wish I was a bird,
So I could fly far ,
Far far away
To a planet unknown,
Where I could be alone.
My feet would remain,
Firmly planted in the sky
And my mind would wander,
All day and all night.
No space,
For unworthy thoughts and worries.
For doubting only makes,
My vision seem blurry .

Back home,
The hate is too strong.
The hate will make me hard,
The hate will make me old
The hate will shrink me,
The hate will stunt my growth
Majority love it,
And truly they live it.
For they are taught
That savagery is key ,
And that blindness is to see.

I look within,
Love is introspective.
Devine by design,
No need to force it.
I plant love,
And water it well ,
The harvest will come sooner this time .
To resurrect my mighty essence,
All in due time.
And grant me the pleasures I seek,
With no end in sight .
